Bixiga 70 is a Brazilian Afrobeat band formed in São Paulo. Known for its fusion of African rhythms with funk, jazz, and Brazilian music, it stands out for the contagious energy in its live performances.

LINDA MAY HAN OH
She is an Australian bassist, composer, and music teacher. A member of the Jazz & Gender Justice Institute. She won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album.

GABRIEL GROSSI
Gabriel Grossi is a Brazilian harmonica player, composer, and producer. He is recognized for blending jazz, choro, and Brazilian instrumental music. He is recognized nationally and internationally for his technique and creativity.

THE BROOKS
The Brooks, a funk-soul collective from Montreal inspired by James Brown, blends funk, soul, R&B, afrobeat, and jazz. Acclaimed in Europe and the Americas, they have won awards such as GAMIQ, Independent Music Awards, and ADISQ.

FRED SUNWALK
Fred Sunwalk is one of the biggest names in contemporary Brazilian blues. The guitarist, singer, and songwriter has performed at the biggest blues and jazz festivals in Brazil, as well as in the United States and Europe. He has opened shows for Buddy Guy, Little Jimmy King, Eric Gales, and others.

MARK LETTIERI
Mark Lettieri is an American guitarist, composer, and music producer. He is a member of the band Snarky Puppy and a solo artist. He has won multiple Grammy Awards with the band.

CRIS CROCHEMORE
Cris Crochemore is a guitarist from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, now living in Texas. He is known for his blues, rock, and jazz, and recognized for his technique and expressiveness on the guitar.

Nubya Garcia, a British saxophonist and composer, is a leading figure in contemporary jazz. Her Caribbean and African influences are reflected in award-winning albums. She is a winner of awards such as the Mercury Prize and the Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year.

AFROJAZZ
Afrojazz has Africa as its foundation, but also uses influences from all other places. The band, which started as part of an academic project, ended up becoming a hit and gaining recognition in other parts of the world. Afro-Brazilian music with all the influences from the perspective of the African diaspora in Brazil and the world.

STANLEY JORDAN
Stanley Jordan is an innovative guitarist, known for his "touch" technique and four Grammy nominations. He blends jazz, rock, and blues in performances around the world, creating virtuoso, creative performances marked by great musical sensitivity. "Stanley Plays Jimi" recreates the experience of a Jimi Hendrix show in a trio format, uniting rock, blues, and jazz. Dudu Lima is a bassist, composer, and arranger from Minas Gerais, recognized among the great Brazilian instrumentalists. With an international career, he has released 11 CDs, 7 DVDs, and collaborated with names such as Milton Nascimento, João Bosco, and Stanley Jordan, bringing his innovative sound to the main stages in Brazil and abroad.

WAGNER TISO
Wagner Tiso is a pianist, conductor, composer, and arranger from Minas Gerais, co-founder of Clube da Esquina, and one of the great names in Brazilian music. In over 60 years of career, he has accumulated more than 30 albums, soundtracks for film, TV, and theater, as well as collaborations with Milton Nascimento and other major MPB artists.

LUAN SCHUENCKEL
With a bold approach, the Made in Blues project (Luan Schuenckel) brings classic international blues songs by artists such as Steve Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, and others. In addition, they offer blues/soul arrangements of national songs that have captivated generations. Luan Schuenckel and his band present a unique, lively, and engaging repertoire. It captivates the audience.

QUARTETO CAÊ INSTRUMENTAL
The quartet presents an original repertoire with a strong Brazilian identity and jazz influences, marked by improvisations, sophisticated harmonies, and expressive melodies. The show highlights compositions from the project "Inspirações da Terra" (Inspirations of the Earth), an album inspired by nature and sensory experiences.

Belzeblues presents an immersive blues rock experience with influences from 70s psychedelia. Marked by improvisation, long soundscapes, and free interaction between musicians, the group blends blues grooves and progressive experimentation, creating intense and sensory performances inspired by Pink Floyd and The Allman Brothers Band.

BIG BEE
Big Bee is a hard blues band founded in 2000 that performs in various cities in Rio de Janeiro, playing in nightclubs, motorcycle rallies, events, and blues festivals. With an original repertoire influenced by great names in the genre, they celebrate 26 years on the road, maintaining the blues as a way of life.

NOVOS TALENTOS IN BLUES
Novos Talentos in Blues (New Talents in Blues) was born from the Rio das Ostras New Talents Festival, which in 25 years brought together more than 7,000 participants. In its new phase, the project creates shows with artists who have participated in the festival, offering them a stage and professional training. Young performers revisit blues classics in a club atmosphere, combining tradition and innovation.

CLUBE DO VINIL
The Rio das Ostras Clube do Vinil emerged in 2013 and, in addition to being a DJ collective, has its own headquarters for selling records and hosting cultural events. For 12 years, the Club has been one of the attractions of the Rio das Ostras Jazz and Blues Festival, being one of the most traditional stands at the event, visited by tourists and city residents alike. This year, we invited DJs Patropi, Khaled, Souza, and Porão to perform at the Jazz House.
